How do I apply?

Initial interest in the integrated course appears to far exceed the 16 spaces available for this course; thus, to make the process fair to all, students will be selected for the "Eco Lens on Costa Rica" integrated course according to the following criteria:
 
[1] Fill out an initial Questionnaire in one of our informational sessions
or download this Questionnaire and mail to

[2] Submit an online application before Friday, November 1st

at 5 pm. This form includes a list of questions and requires a 500 word essay. [ SUBMIT ESSAY ELECTRONICALLY ]
 
[3] Meeting pre-requisites for all courses.
 
[4] Demonstrating academic fit-- both courses fulfill credits/requirements in a student's degree program.
All eligible students will be notified by Wednesday Nov. 6th at which time they are registered in both courses. Selected students will meet as a group with UMA administration and faculty to sign documents and photocopy passports on Friday 11/22 on the Augusta campus—RRSC Room 127.
 
REQUIRED ESSAY:
Complete a short essay (500 words) addressing the following:
Please describe and explain how your education has prepared you to take this integrated course. And, how will this integrated course experience augment your education at UMA (and/or how do both classes fit into your program of study?)?
